Positive Turn Initiative (PTI)
Positive Turn Initiative (PTI) is a grassroots outreach ministry reaching street-involved youth and at-risk young men across Lagos — one life, one community at a time.
"He woke up under a bridge with no name, no hope, no future. Then a PTI team showed up. They sat with him. Looked him in the eye. Today, he leads a discipleship group of twelve men."
EMEKA'S STORY · MUSHIN, LAGOSPTI was born from a radical conviction: no young man is too far gone. Not the drug addict sleeping under the Third Mainland Bridge. Not the hoodlum in Ajegunle. Not the homeless teenager in Oshodi.
"He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the captives and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free."
Luke 4:18–19
We are not a Sunday program. We are a movement of restoration — happening week by week, life by life, across Lagos.
Every figure below represents a person — not a statistic.
PTI runs a complete transformation pathway — from first street contact to full societal reintegration.
Trained teams enter motor parks, underbridges, and high-risk zones. Relationships first. The Gospel follows naturally.
Intentional spiritual environments — praise, Bible teaching, altar ministry — designed for genuine, life-altering encounter with God.
We meet physical hunger first. Meals, clothing, and basic welfare build the bridge of dignity that makes spiritual transformation possible.
New converts are not left alone. Structured Bible study groups, accountability systems, and leadership grooming ensure transformation takes root.
Selected beneficiaries receive structured training in vocational trades, digital skills, and entrepreneurship for economic reintegration.
PTI facilitates full water baptism for converts, followed by intentional community integration and ongoing pastoral care.
We operate where the need is greatest — in the streets, under bridges, and in underserved communities.
The work is not finished. Across Lagos — and increasingly beyond it — there are still young men waiting to be found.
Connect with PTI to discuss how your support — financial, vocational, or organizational — can accelerate this movement across Lagos and beyond.
